【摘要】:Thisguidecoversmechanismsthatmaybeusedtoauthenticatehealthcareinformation(bothadministrativeandclinical)userstocomputersystems,aswellasmechanismstoauthorizeparticularactionsbyusers.Theseactionsmayincludeaccesstohealthcareinformationdocuments,aswellas,specificoperationsonthosedocuments(forexample,reviewbyaphysician).Thisguideaddressesbothcentralizedanddistributedenvironments,bydefiningtherequirementsthatasinglesystemshallmeetandthekindsofinformationwhichshallbetransmittedbetweensystemstoprovidedistributedauthenticationandauthorizationservices.Thisguideaddressesthetechnicalspecificationsforhowtoperformuserauthenticationandauthorization.Theactualdefinitionofwhocanaccesswhatisbasedonorganizationalpolicy.
