【摘要】:Electricalcontactinjuriestoworkersmayinvolveacurrentpaththroughthefeetoftheworker.Thefootwearcoveredbythisspecificationisdielectricallyratedtoprovideadditionalinsulationandisolationtothewearer.Thistestmethodwilldeterminethatdielectricfootwearhasdielectricintegrityatthetimeofthetest.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstestingtodeterminethex201C;DielectricStrengthx201D;ofdielectricoverfootandovershoefootwear.Testingisdoneoverthemaximumpossibleareaofthedielectricfootwearwithoutpermittingflashoverbetweenelectrodes.1.2Theuseandmaintenanceofdielectricfootwearisbeyondthescopeofthistestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specifichazardstatementsappearin5.2.
