【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversperformancerequirements,testmethods,andmarkingrequirementstopromotesafeuseofframechildcarriers.1.2Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisintendedtominimizetheriskofinjurytoachildfromthenormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseoftheseproducts.1.3Forpurposesofdefinition,aframechildcarrierisaproduct,normallyofsewnfabricconstructiononatubularmetalorotherframe,whichisdesignedtocarryachild,inanuprightposition,onthebackofthecaregiver.Aframechildcarrierisintendedforusewithachildthatisabletosituprightunassistedandweighbetween16lb(7.3kg)andupto40lb(18.1kg).Theframechildcarrierisintendedtobewornonthebackofthecaregiver''sbody,withthecarrier,andthusthechild,suspendedfrombothshouldersofthecaregiver.Theseatedpositionofthechildiseitherfacingtowardsorawayfromthecaregiver.1.4Noframechildcarrierproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththespecificationunlessitcomplieswithalloftherequirementscontainedherein.1.5Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisnotintendedtoaddressincidentsandinjuriesresultingfromtheinteractionofotherpersonsorobjectswiththecaregiverandchildwhiletheframechildcarrierisinuse.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.7Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7ofthisconsumersafetyspecification.Thisstandardmayinvolvetheuseofhazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
